Is there a security deposit?

Security deposits are equal to 1 month's rent.  Security deposits may be waived with yearly or long-term leases. Call for details.

How much can I fit in your units?  

5' x 12' is about the size of a walk-in closet.  You may be able to fit one room's contents in this unit.

10' x 12' is about the size of a standard bedroom.  You may be able to fit 2-3 room's contents in this unit.

10' x 20' is about the size of a 1 car garage.  You may be able to fit 3-5 room's contents in this unit.

10' x 28' may fit up to 7 room's contents in this unit.

How wide are the doors to the 5' x 12' units?

5' x 12' units have a 36" wide door
 

I have tall items.  How high are the doors to the units?

10' x 12' and 10' x 20' units have a 7' tall garage door.  10' x 28' units have a 9' garage door.

 

Are your units heated?

No, they are not heated.  If storing in the winter, we suggest you put furniture and other valuable items on wood pallets to protect against the freezing and thawing of the cement floors.  Some pallets may be available if left by other tenants - just ask if you are looking for some and we may be able to help.

 

Are there electrical outlets within the units?

No.

 

Are there lights within the units?

No.  There are lights on the outside of the buildings for security.

 

Do I provide my own lock?

Yes.  We suggest you use a purchase a Discus Lock.  They can be found at Walmart, Target, your nearest hardware store or online through dealers like this:  discus lock        (We do not sell or rent locks)

 

Do you have any security?

We have outside lighting for security and we make frequent visits to the units to check on them.  We are not a gated facility.  Though we do not anticipate crime on our property, we suggest you purchase your own renter's insurance if you have valuable items within your unit.  Also, purchasing a high-quality lock, like suggested above, will add a great amount of security to your unit.
